Greenbelt bike path mess (Luv2Teach 03/16/07 1:28pm)
To all the kids who hang out along the bike path behind Greenbelt Pkwy. West and Shadowgrove Ln: Why do you get a thrill out of smashing beer bottles on the path? Some of us actually walk our dogs on the path and have to skirt around the broken glass and wonder when our dog will have a gash in their paws. We do actually bring our children along the path for a bike ride and hope they don\'t get glass in their tires or get cut. To all the supposedly responsible adults who live along these bike paths: Why do throw your garbage over your fences to litter the path? Is that your form of exercise? Some of exercise by actually WALKING on the path. Do we have to see your garbage? What a horrible world we live in with the \"me\" generation, people whose houses and lawns are \"perfect\", but who do not care about the general public OR the land that we live in. The garbage company takes just about everything! All you have to do is drag it out front on garbage days!
