Baby Hawk's Happy Ending to A Sad Story
Full Description:
A baby red-tailed hawk, imprisoned, marked and tormented by her captors, eyes poked out, and almost starved to death was finally rescued by local authorities and is now being taken cared of at Caumsett State Historic Park.
The hawk, now permanently blind cannot be restored to the wild but is now a candidate for training and usage for educational purposes due to her calm behavior.
